Sono continuamente alla ricerca di realtà vinicole che possano impressionarmi, oltre che per i loro vini genuini, per le persone che riescono a trasmettere la loro viscerale passione per il proprio lavoro e per la terra in cui vivono. Persone che con naturalezza riescono a trasferire il territorio all’interno di una calice, persone che riescono ad infondere le tradizioni del luogo, persone che riescono a suscitare emozioni.

Rottensteiner è una cantina dove i contrasti si fondono dando vita a vini autentici e riconoscibili. Una realtà dove la tradizione si combina con l’innovazione, dove la storia detta le basi per il futuro e dove il passato sussurra all’avvenire. Questa esaltazione della territorialità e della tradizione l’ho trovata in ogni singolo calice che ho assaggiato, unitamente alla freschezza ed alla bevibilità:

– Kitz Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio e Chardonnay, piacevolmente fresco e sapido.
– Vigna Kristplonerhof Schiava. Incredibile bevibilità.
– Vigna Premstallerhof Santa Maddalena Classico. Schiava 95% e Lagrein 5%. Elegantemente morbido e fruttato.
– Pinot Bianco Piacevolmente fresco ed intenso.
– Carnol Pinot Bianco sapido e fresco.
– Müller Thurgau Delicatamente mentolato.
– Sauvignon Intensamente fruttato con spalla minerale.
– Gewürztraminer Una passeggiata in un campo fiorito.
– Cancenai Gewürztraminer Speziato e mai stucchevole.
– Lagrein Rosato Scuro, tannico e corposo.
– Select Prem Shiava 95% ricco ed elegante.
– Valle d’Isarco Sylvaner un vino da montagna.
– Pinot Nero Elegante Elegante e fresco.
– Pinot Nero Riserva Elegante ed equilibrato.
– Select Lagrein Gries Riserva Sorso poderoso.

I’m constantly looking for wineries that can impress me, as well as for their genuine wines, for people who manage to convey their visceral passion for their work and for the land in which they live. People who naturally transfer the territory inside a glass, people who infuse the traditions of the place, people who arouse emotions.

Rottensteiner is a winery where contrasts blend to create authentic and recognizable wines. A reality where tradition is combined with innovation, where history lays the foundations for the future and where the past gives rise to the future. This exaltation of territoriality and tradition I found in every single glass I tasted, together with freshness and drinkability:

– Sauvignon Intensely fruity with mineral shoulder.
– Gewürztraminer A walk in a flower field.
– Cancenai Gewürztraminer. Spicy and never cloying.
– Lagrein Rosato Dark, tannic and full-bodied.
– Select Prem Shiava 95%. Rich and elegant.
– Valle d’Isarco Sylvaner a mountain wine.
– Pinot Noir Elegant and fresh.
– Pinot Noir Riserva Elegant and well balanced.
– Select Lagrein Gries Riserva Powerful and elegant sip.
