Alte Reben 2019 – Weingut Loersch

🇮🇹 🎈Grazie a SipsAroundTheGlobe ho avuto il piacere di assaggiare diversi vini di Alexander e devo dire che da dal secco al dolce, li ho trovati tutti piacevolmente equilibrati e bevibili.

Weingut Loersch si trova nell’anello della Mosella, a Trittenheimer. Nel 2002 Alexander Loersch prende in mano l’azienda, con 2,7 ettari vitati, portandoli agli attuali 8 ettari. Interpreta con uno stile tutto suo la migliore identità del Riesling della Mosella, attraverso basse rese per ettaro, raccolta manuale ed utilizzo di lieviti naturali con l’obiettivo di produrre vini di qualità eccellente. Alexander dice che ‘Con un lavoro meticoloso in vigna e in cantina, voglio produrre una qualità eccellente dal secco al dolce’.

‘Spätlese‘ letteralmente vuol dire ‘raccolta tardiva’. Le uve sono raccolte una settimana dopo, o anche più in base alle zone, hanno una maggiore concentrazione zuccherina ed il vino ottenuto, più ricco e carico, può essere secco (trocken), semi secco (halb trocken) o amabile (lieblich).

Alte Reben ’19 🍇 Riesling Spätlese
👀Paglierino  con riflessi dorati e consistente.
👃L’impronta olfattiva evoca leggere note di idrocarburi, gesso e grafite, poi pesca saturnina, mango, erba di campo e vegetazione da sottobosco.
👅Il sorso è pieno, corposo, morbido e con un lunghissimo finale di frutta matura.
🍳Rotolo di tacchino alle erbe.

Questo è un Riesling mi fa pensare e sognare le lunghe giornate primaverili dove, un’ora di luce in più, regala il tempo per un lungo aperitivo. Un delizioso bicchiere di vino per godersi in libertà qualche momento di relax, magari con qualche amico, al tramonto sul mare o sul lago.
Un Riesling di grande piacevolezza e bevibilità che addolcisce ed alleggerisce le fresche cene primaverili all’aperto.

🇬🇧 🎈Thanks to Sipsaroundtheglobe I had the pleasure of tasting different Alexander wines and I must say that from dry to sweet, I found them all pleasantly balanced and drinkable.

Weingut Loersch is located in the ring of the Moselle, in Trittenheimer. In 2002 Alexander Loersch took over the farm, with 2.7 hectares of vineyards, bringing them to the current 8 hectares. It interprets with its own style the best identity of the Riesling of the Mosel, through low yields per hectare, manual harvesting and use of natural yeasts with the aim of producing wines of excellent quality. Alexander says that ‘With meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, I want to produce an excellent quality from dry to sweet’.

‘Spätlese‘ literally means ‘late harvest’. The grapes are harvested a week later, or even more according to the areas, have a higher sugar concentration and the wine obtained, richer and more loaded, can be dry (trocken), semi-dry (halb trocken) or amiable (lieblich).

👀Straw-yellow with golden reflections and consistent..
👃The olfactory impression evokes light notes of hydrocarbons, chalk and graphite, then peach, mango, field grass and undergrowth vegetation.
👅The mouthfeel is full-bodied, soft and with a very long finish of ripe fruit.
🍳Roll of herbal turkey.

This Riesling makes me think and dream of the long spring days where, an extra hour of light, it gives me time for a long aperitif. A delicious glass of wine to enjoy in freedom a few moments of relaxation, maybe with some friends, at sunset on the sea or on the lake.
A Riesling of great pleasure and drinkability that softens and lightens the fresh spring dinners outdoors.
